e-Flock is the key technology for crystal-clear & healthy swimming water

In-situ Floc Dosing System

Easy to apply to any new or existing filtration system

Unlike public swimming pools, where automatic dosing of flocculant is indispensable to guarantee clear and high-quality swimming water, this technique is hardly used in private pools.

UNTIL NOW!

e-Flock offers a unique system to optimize water quality and enjoy crystal-clear, sparkling pool water.

Operation of e-Flock

General

e-Flock significantly enhances the performance of the filtration system. e-Flock ensures that smaller dirt particles (<50 microns) are still absorbed by the filter and discharged to the sewer during the backwash and cleaning process. This makes the filtration process much more efficient, resulting in crystal-clear pool water without the addition of chemicals (flocculant), and this fully automatically (adjustable according to filter size and maximum pump flow rate). In addition, the process also has a positive effect on the elimination of phosphates, oils and fats, etc.

Principle

e-Flock autonomously produces flocculant by means of electrocoagulation. In this process, aluminum ions are produced in situ and subsequently form aluminum hydroxide flocs. Al(OH)₃ is a gel-like floc with a large surface area that precipitates phosphate, captures suspended solids, adsorbs organic material, and binds heavy metals. The contaminants are removed and discharged via the filter.

Efficiency

e-Flock continuously and evenly doses the required amount of flocculant and thus eliminates unwanted dissolved substances in the pool water.

Turbidity                   90–99%

Suspended solids         90–99%

Phosphate                            90–99%

Oils and fats               70–95%

Heavy metals               80–99%

Installing the e-Flock Production Cell

Positioning e-Flock – vertical or horizontal

Glue the production cell into a PVC T-piece (63 mm)

Position between pump and filter (always before the filter!)

For vertical installation

  • T-piece 45°
  • Water flow from bottom to top

For horizontal installation

  • T-piece 90°

Can also be installed in a bypass

Connecting the e-Flock control box

Mount the control box on a DIN rail (electrical panel/cabinet)

230 VAC

  • Mains power connection

Flow switch / bridge

  • Connection for “open/closed contact” flow monitoring
  • Bridge (standard)

Production cell

  • Connection cable (7 meters) supplied

e-Flock control

Use the up/down buttons to set the desired dosage on the display.

Follow the diagram to determine the correct dosage depending on pump flow rate and filter diameter.

Display  Filter diameter  Flow rate Production time

 2            400 – 500 mm     < 9 m3/h           4,650 h

 3            500 – 600 mm     < 14 m3/h         2,650 h

 4            600 – 700 mm     < 19 m3/h         1,850 h

 5            700 – 800 mm     < 25 m3/h         1,450 h

 6            800 – 900 mm     < 32 m3/h          1,150 h
